PTFX manufactures non-glass FDA hygienic sight glass assemblies and vessel level gauges designed to aid visual flow monitoring of media in process hoses and to monitor liquid levels in bulk tanks and vessels. Made from FDA and USP approved translucent fluoropolymer materials, they offer a safer alternative to conventional breakable glass units, which are being phased out at food, dairy, brewery, and pharmaceutical sites on health and safety grounds. Available in sizes from 6mm to 150mm bore in continuous lengths up to 7.30 metres, with working pressures up to 20 Bar and an operating temperature range from -60°C to +200°C.
