A CarboVac marine loading VRU is an activated carbon adsorption system designed to capture and recover hydrocarbon vapors released during the loading and unloading of marine vessels. This technology prevents volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, which improves environmental compliance, reduces product loss, and allows recovered hydrocarbons to be reused. The system uses activated carbon beds to adsorb vapors and a vacuum pump for regeneration, where the vapors are recovered and returned to the liquid state.
